| Korea and Brazil are on the road to further bridging the geographical distance between them.
Following Wednesday's summit talks between presidents Lee Myung-bak and Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at the presidential office here in Brasilia the two countries produced a 26-point joint press release detailing the areas they would work on.
For one trade.
Over the last five years two-way trade has more than doubled with total shipments between the two countries forecast to reach more than eight billion US dollars this year.
Noting that Korea currently enjoys an annual trade surplus of 700 million dollars with Brazil the two leaders agreed to expand and diversify bilateral trade in a balanced manner.
