This year's Grammy Awards, previously scheduled for the last day of January, has been postponed due to a sharp uptick in COVID-19 cases in LA.
The awards were planned to be held in the Staples Center, but the organizers decided to pull the venue and date as LA has become a virus hotspot with coronavirus-related deaths reaching ten-thousand.
The organizers say the event will instead be held in March, but no specific date was given.
This year's Grammys have garnered extra interest in South Korea as K-pop boyband, BTS, are first-time nominees.
