You can't miss a spot.
This is not just a regular cleaning session, this is disinfection during the COVID-19 era.
The team make sure they spray every surface.
They wipe the surfaces down after twenty minutes which is how long it takes for the virus to be fully exterminated.
Any surface that has been or will be touched by people will not be left unwiped.
With the help of their machines, this team of two can completely disinfect this six story building in under an hour.
"This is a ULV fogging machine it uses large volumes of air at low pressures to transform liquid, in this case disinfectant, into droplets that are dispersed into the atmosphere. This is the most widely used machine to disinfect against COVID-19."
The machine can be filled with 2 to 2.5 litres of disinfectant at a time which lasts 10 to 15 minutes.
The job requires a full understanding of what type of chemicals should be used in each situation.
Being certified for the job, the two have been in the business long before COVID-19 hit the country and also do other sanitary work such as spraying pesticides.
"To prevent the spread of COVID-19, it's important that people have the proper training that is required for disinfection work… also, it's important to wear protective gear when disinfecting buildings."
"For disinfection jobs, we have been doing it at kindergartens, also hotels or anywhere else that legally needs disinfection."
No one will know exactly how many clusters were prevented because of their expertise, but thanks to their efforts, people can work at their offices with a much lower chance of catching COVID-19.
