The need to wear face masks when out in public has been driving new beauty and cosmetics trends.
"Eyebrow tattoos and other beauty treatments are getting more popular as the lower parts of our faces are covered by masks."
Eyebrow tattoos are a semi-permanent drawing of eyebrows that best fit your face.
They last two to three years and can be done at a dermatology clinic.
And it's not just younger women who are getting their eyebrows done.
The treatment is becoming increasingly popular with men in their 30s and 40s.
"As people can't travel or spend money on something else lots of men visited our hospital this year. When men age, the ends of their eyebrows get thinner and blurred, so many older people get eyebrow tattoos."
Aside from the eyebrows, more people are getting surgery to correct their vision.
In 2020, laser eye surgery procedures such as LASIK, doubled compared to the previous year.
"When wearing face masks, people's glasses fog up, which is inconvenient. And as COVID-19 spreads people don't go out or drink, so they decide to get the surgery. After the surgery, they can't drink alcohol for a month."
And as people are spending more time at home, either working or studying, they could see it as a good time to get laser eye surgery.
This is because they have to take time off to recover and should avoid sunlight after the surgery.
