Market Wrap Up: U.S. stocks drop, Nasdaq posts worst session since October as tech rout deepens

Now to the closing numbers on the markets,
U.S. stocks traded lower Thursday, and tech shares were sold off, as a rapid rise in Treasury yields spooked equity investors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1 point 8 percent and the S&P 2 point-5 percent.
The tech-heavy NASDAQ underperformed with a drop of 3.5 percent for its worst session since October to finish at 13,119 point-43.
Oil prices were mixed ,.. with Brent Crude down point 2 percent.
WTI meanwhile climbed point 2 percent to 63-dollars and 39 cents a barrel.
