S. Korea's exports up 9.5% y/y in February

South Korea's exports were up in February from a year earlier for the fourth month in a row.
Seoul's trade ministry said exports last month amounted to some 44.8 billion U.S. dollars, an on-year increase of 9.5 percent.
The daily average also rose by more than 26 percent, the biggest increase on record for the month of February.
Exports were especially strong in memory chips, up more than 13 percent, and in automobiles, which soared by 47 percent.
In terms of destinations, the biggest increases were to China, the U.S., and the EU.
